My Story

I’m Sally and the proud founder of REMEMBER WHEN. 

REMEMBER WHEN was born from a place of deep love and deep loss. Within a short period of time, I said goodbye to my dog Alfie, my pony Ty, and my cat Harriet. Their absence left a space I didn’t quite know how to fill. I searched for something meaningful to hold onto, something that could keep their memory close, but nothing felt personal enough. So I tried making something myself.

Those first pieces brought me more comfort than I ever expected. Creating them helped me through my grief, and soon I found myself making gifts for others who were navigating their own losses. Each story shared with me, each precious inclusion entrusted to my care, helped me heal a little more too. What began as a personal act of remembrance has grown into a craft shaped by love, connection, and the memories people hold most dear.

Every inclusion I receive is treated with the utmost respect and dignity. I handle each one as if it belonged to my own beloved companions, and I feel truly honoured to be trusted with such meaningful work.

I have two miniature horses, Inky and Destiny, lovingly known as "The Fluffies" and along with my family, they’re a huge part of my support system.

REMEMBER WHEN exists in memory of Alfie, Minnie, Simon, Ty, Harriet, Malic, and Mickey — and in honour of every life that has touched a heart.
